Hello from KAMANEH
KENYA ASSOCIATION FOR MATERNAL AND NEONATAL HEALTH
Who We Are
The Kenya Association for Maternal and Neonatal Health (KAMANEH) is a local not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered on 25th September 1997 under the NGOs Coordination Act of 1990. KAMANEH's mandate is to address the unacceptable high levels of maternal, neonatal and child mortality and morbidity in Kenya. The organization works to identify, address and prevent complications that arise during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, and thus ultimately decreasing maternal, infant and child mortality rates in Kenya.
What We Do
The Kenya Association for Maternal and Neonatal Health (KAMANEH) envisions communities where pregnant women, mothers, infants, children and adolescents survive, thrive, and realize their greatest potential and have access to quality and affordable health care services, including preventive health and information.
KAMANEH’s mission is to save and improve the lives of pregnant women, mothers, infants, children and adolescents in urban slums and remote communities in Kenya.
